What conditions should be met for the normal use of small CNC lathes?

During the operation of small CNC lathe electrical equipment, it needs to withstand the influence of many adverse factors such as environment and operation, causing or causing many faults. Therefore, daily maintenance and inspection are very important and indispensable parts of production operation. The normal use of small CNC lathes must meet the following conditions,

  1. Environmental requirements: The location of small CNC lathes should be away from vibration sources, avoid direct sunlight and heat radiation, and avoid moisture and airflow. If there is a vibration source near the machine tool, anti-vibration grooves should be set around the machine tool. Otherwise, it will directly affect the processing accuracy and stability of the machine tool, and will cause poor contact of electronic components, failure, and affect the reliability of the machine tool.
  2. Power supply requirements: Generally, small CNC lathes are installed in machining workshops. Not only does the ambient temperature change greatly and the use conditions are poor, but there are also many electromechanical equipment, resulting in large fluctuations in the power grid. Therefore, the location where the CNC lathe is installed requires strict control of the power supply voltage. The power supply voltage fluctuation must be within the allowable range and remain relatively stable. Otherwise, it will affect the normal operation of the CNC system.
  3. Temperature conditions: The ambient temperature of small CNC lathes is lower than 30 degrees Celsius, and the relative temperature is less than 80%. Generally speaking, exhaust fans or air coolers are installed inside CNC electric control boxes to keep the working temperature of electronic components, especially the central processing unit, constant or with little temperature difference. Excessive temperature and humidity will reduce the life of control system components and increase faults. The increase in temperature and humidity and the increase in dust will cause adhesion on the integrated circuit board and cause short circuits.
  4. Standard use: When using the machine tool, machine tool users are not allowed to arbitrarily change the parameters set by the manufacturer in the control system. The setting of these parameters is directly related to the dynamic characteristics of each component of the machine tool. Only the value of the gap compensation parameter can be adjusted according to the actual situation. Users cannot replace machine tool accessories at will, such as using a hydraulic chuck that exceeds the specifications of the manual. When setting accessories, the manufacturer fully considers the matching of parameters in various links. Blind replacement causes mismatching of parameters in various links and even unexpected accidents. The pressure of the hydraulic chuck, hydraulic tool holder, hydraulic tailstock, and hydraulic cylinder should be within the allowable stress range and is not allowed to be increased arbitrarily.
