The process specifications for CNC vertical lathe machining and traditional vertical lathe machining are generally the same, but because CNC machining involves a single setup and continuous automatic processing to complete all turning operations, there are some points to note after completing CNC vertical lathe machining.
Precautions after machining:
- Clean off chips and wipe down the vertical lathe, keeping the lathe and its surroundings clean.
- Check or replace worn oil wipers on the vertical lathe guide rails.
- Check the condition of the lubricating oil and coolant, and add or replace them as needed.
- Turn off the power on the vertical lathe control panel and the main power switch in sequence.
- When starting the vertical lathe, the principle of first returning to the home position (except for special requirements), then manual operation, jogging, and finally automatic operation should be followed. The vertical lathe should be operated at low speed, then medium speed, and finally high speed, with the low and medium speed operation lasting no less than 2-3 minutes. Only after confirming that there are no abnormalities should work begin.
