The size of the main specifications of the CNC machine tool should be compatible with the outline size of the workpiece. That is, small workpieces should be processed by small-sized machine tools, while large workpieces should be processed by large-sized machine tools to ensure the rational use of the equipment.

The structure of the machine tool depends on the size of the machine tool, the weight of the workpiece, and other factors.

The working accuracy of the machine tool should be compatible with the processing accuracy required by the process. Select the machine tool according to the processing accuracy requirements of the parts. For example, for the rough processing process with low accuracy requirements, a low-precision machine tool should be selected, and for the finishing process with high accuracy requirements, a high-precision machine tool should be selected.

The power, rigidity and maneuverability of the machine tool should be compatible with the nature of the process and the most appropriate cutting amount. If the rough processing process removes a large amount of blanks and the cutting allowance is large, the machine tool is required to have large power and good rigidity.

Easy clamping and simple fixture structure are also factors that need to be considered when selecting CNC equipment. Whether to choose a horizontal CNC machine tool or a vertical CNC machine tool will directly affect the structure and machining coordinate system of the selected fixture, and is directly related to the difficulty of CNC programming and the reliability of CNC machining.

It should be noted that when selecting a CNC machine tool, the functions of the CNC equipment should be fully utilized, and reasonable development should be carried out according to needs to expand the functions of the CNC machine tool and meet the needs of the product. Then, according to the selected CNC machine tool, the CNC machining plan and process route should be further optimized, and the content of the process should be appropriately adjusted according to needs.

When selecting a machining machine tool, first of all, the technical requirements of the machining parts should be guaranteed, and qualified parts can be machined. Secondly, it should be conducive to improving production efficiency and reducing production costs. When selecting a machining machine tool, the structure, load, power, stroke and accuracy of the machine tool should generally be considered.
