Daily maintenance of CNC lathes

With the development of social economy and science and technology, more and more companies have invested CNC lathes in precision machining parts processing, which has greatly improved product quality and productivity. In the long-term production, CNC lathes are affected by many external factors, resulting in equipment failures, affecting the normal production and manufacturing. Due to the high accuracy of CNC lathes, the operating tolerance requirements between its components are also very high. Proper maintenance of CNC lathes has also become a topic of urgent concern for all companies. Let me tell you about some of my work experience:

Daily maintenance

Before work:

  1. Walk around the lathe to check whether the lathe external field and the three-phase five-wire power supply are damaged
  2. Check whether the oils are at standard values.
  3. Manually operate the automatic lubrication pump to ensure that all parts are lubricated in time.
  4. Carry out low-speed operation on all moving parts of the lathe (in winter, the spindle bearing needs to be idled at low speed for more than five minutes)

Work:

  1. Clean the iron pins on the slide rails in time.
  2. Always pay attention to the oil of the automatic lubrication pump and whether it runs and turns off the automatic lubrication pump according to the set time.
  3. Pay close attention to whether the electrical and mechanical parts of the lathe are running normally.

After get off work:

  1. Clean all the iron pins.
  2. Wipe and oil the slide rails.
  3. Wipe the dirty areas outside the lathe.
